So tonight will be debuting Mannheim Rocket at the fBi x-mess party (Good God small club). Been pretty nervous. I imagine it may be a farcical gig (15 minute slots = chaos?) but still I feel huge pressure. Being this is my first time doing not only this project but any kind of laptop djing infront of a discerning audience. Must remember to not be afraid of repetition - after all how else will I fill fifteen minutes??!!!
Had a good jam in Manly last night. Getting a good improv thing happening. And that will also be the spot for the sludge (or maybe it's now doom?) band. Which kicks off tomorrow...sort of.
Almost forgot, saw Kevin Blechdom afterwards. Last time I saw her there were human and animal flesh fusions going on. Not this time. Very different to the cube. Aaaaahh cube how I enjoyed thee.
